Hi all,

Yesterday Hip took Shiner with him to feed. Well Hip let Shiner out of the pickup and Shiner decided to have his own hay day with all his buddies. Dez lives down by the corrals where everyone normaly meets in the morning. Shiner was delighted here comes Rosie, Sissy and Bull over to meet him. Oh were they all ever strutting around to out do each other. The dog gone fun started right away!!!!!!!!!!! It didn't take long till we heard the dogs barking to beat heck. Then all of a sudden they were all yelping!!!!!!!!! Whelp it sounded like the fun came to an abrupt halt. Next thing we know Shiner, Rosie, Sissy and Bull all strolled in to the corrals with their tails tucked between their legs and don't forget their tails are all cropped!!!!!!!!! Their noses were all stuffed with porcupine quills. Shiner was worst and I mean bad all the way up to his ears. Smart little Rosie was the only one with enough previous sence to spectate the whole bloody afair. Believe me I've pulled a few quills out of her before, I'm glad she learned by it. Actually Rosie is feeling pretty proud of herself. You should have seen her while listening to all her buddies last night. It took three of us me, Nick and Poncho to hold Mr. Shiner boy down!!!!!!!!! and Dez pulled the quills. Shiner has been resting peacefully ever since last night. Our vet Jane is out of town till this Saturday. Jane will be at the ranch Sunday to bangs vaccinate & test all our heifers. Shiner will be on her patient list along with the heifers : -( It's to bad Jane wasen't here last night sure would have been handy.

Rosie will have a lot to bark about with everyone this summer!!! : -)
